Software made to order.

We build the websites, apps, platforms, APIs and automations that organizations and independent clients actually run on — measured to your goals, built to scale, and looked after long after the launch day.

Plain terms
about the work

01  /  The practice

Saul Perez LLC is a software development company. We take a goal, agree on what it needs to do, and build the thing — then keep it running.

No two clients arrive with the same problem, so nothing here comes off a shelf. A membership body needs different plumbing than a founder testing a first product, and a single client with one stubborn manual process needs something smaller than either. Each engagement gets its own scope, its own architecture and its own honest timeline.

Made to measure

Every website, app and integration is specified around what the client is trying to achieve, not around a framework we happened to have open.

Built to grow

Products are structured so that more users, more data and more features are a planned event rather than a rewrite.

Kept running

Launch is a milestone, not an exit. Updates, fixes and technical support continue as long as you need them.

The build sheet

02  /  Six lines of work

Marketing sites, brochure sites and content-driven builds, written in clean markup and structured for search from the first line. We handle layout, responsive behaviour, accessibility and the editing setup, so the people who own the content can change it themselves.

  • Responsive layout
  • Content editing
  • Search-ready markup
  • Performance budget

Portals, internal tools, booking systems, member areas and admin dashboards. We model the data first, then build the screens around it, so the product stays coherent as roles, rules and reporting needs pile up.

  • Accounts & roles
  • Admin dashboards
  • Reporting views
  • Data modelling

We design mobile flows around thumbs, patchy signal and short attention — then connect them to the same backend as the rest of your product so nothing falls out of sync. Store submission and post-release updates are part of the job.

  • Interface design
  • Offline behaviour
  • Push notifications
  • Release support

We design and build APIs that other developers can read without a phone call, and wire up third-party services — payments, messaging, storage, whatever the workflow needs. Versioning, authentication and sensible error responses are specified up front, not patched in later.

  • API design
  • Documentation
  • Authentication
  • Third-party services

We map the process as it actually runs today, find the steps that never needed a person, and replace them with scheduled jobs, triggers and clean handoffs. Every automation gets logging and a manual override, because the exceptions are the whole point.

  • Process mapping
  • Scheduled jobs
  • Data sync
  • Alerts & logs

Dependency updates, security patches, monitoring, small feature additions and the occasional urgent fix. We can also take over software someone else wrote — starting with a read-through and an honest report on what it will take to keep it healthy.

  • Updates & patches
  • Monitoring
  • Small changes
  • Inherited codebases

Who the
work is for

03  /  Three kinds of client

Organizations

Teams with existing systems, existing processes and no appetite for disruption. We fit new software into what already works, migrate what doesn't, and document the result so it isn't a mystery in two years.

Entrepreneurs

Founders who need a first version in front of real users quickly, without building something that has to be thrown away at the first sign of traction. We scope tightly and leave room to expand.

Individual clients

One person, one problem, one clear brief. Portfolio sites, personal tools, small utilities and the automation of whatever task has been eating your evenings. Small projects get the same care as large ones.

Order of work

04  /  First call to handover

Stage 01

First call

You describe the problem in your own words. We ask what success looks like, what already exists, and what the real deadline is.

Stage 02

Scope on paper

Features, screens, data and integrations written down and priced before anyone opens an editor. You approve the list, or we cut it together.

Stage 03

Build

Interface and engineering move together in short passes. You see working software early and often, not a silence followed by a reveal.

Stage 04

Proving

We test the flows, the edge cases, the load, the small screens and the slow connections — then fix what the testing finds.

Stage 05

Handover & after

Deployment, access, documentation and a walkthrough. Then maintenance, monitoring and changes for as long as the product lives.

Materials
& methods

05  /  Where the work happens

Interfaces

The layer people actually touch. We design and build screens that stay legible on a phone in daylight and on a monitor at arm's length, with keyboard access and colour contrast treated as requirements rather than a final polish.

  • Interface design
  • Responsive layout
  • Component systems
  • Accessibility
  • Front-end engineering
  • Performance tuning

What you
get, exactly

06  /  The terms

A

A scope you can read

Before development starts you get the feature list, the technical plan and the schedule in plain language. Nothing gets built from a guess about what you meant.

B

Headroom by default

Products are architected for the traffic and the feature set you expect next year, so growth means adding, not starting over.

C

Direct contact

Questions go to the people building the software — one email address, one phone number, no ticket queue standing between you and an answer.

D

Support that continues

Maintenance, updates and technical help carry on after handover, so the product keeps working while your attention is elsewhere.
